Chequerboard floor, Napier 2025

One of our absolute favourite projects to date. This design definitely had us reaching for our thinking caps — and our calculators — to achieve a striking chequerboard pattern throughout the hallway, bathroom, laundry and kitchen/diner.
The entire home was given the five-star treatment by the design team at Little & Fox Interior Design, with the floors painted in Aalto Paint’s Slurred and Porters Paints Tusk. A shout out to the incredibly knowledgeable Bill and the team over at Complete Paints in Napier for the excellent product advice and supply. We loved being involved in the practical design decisions alongside the owners and Nelly at Little & Fox Interior Design, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.
